Hyderabad FC has let go of many players and is building from scratch, so their LW Marcelinho, attacker Bobo and many other players have left the club and they have signed Narzary, Chianese and the Spanish Beast Aridane Santana for their attack.
The Nizams have signed Nazrary in August who is an LW and had a pre-contract with Joel Chianese who is an RW and announced him in the first week of this month.
Both of these players will boost the attack and while all the fans were thinking Liston Colaco would be the go-to striker next season, Hyderabad FC announced the signing of Aridane Santana out of nowhere on September 17th.
Aridane Santana will be a good boost to the Nizams because of his 14 years experience in Spanish leagues, along with 1-year experience in Thai league. He has played 337 matches and scored 115 goals and gave 10 assists till now.
Santana has been a real goal machine for Odisha FC by playing 14 matches he has scored 9 goals and given 2 assists with a 1.50 PPG. He would’ve done better if he wouldn’t have missed 21 games due to a foot injury.
The Spaniard is very good at heading the ball. He drops very deep, offers help on the wings. Most of his goals are from inside the box. Odisha progressed by going wide last season and used its wingers who had good shot quality.
The Nizams have very good wingers. Both Narzary and Chianese are good at their flanks, can run fast and provide good assist. Chianese is more of a playmaker. He tries to take the ball, pushes forward and shoots it inside the box.
Narzary is also like Chianese. He tries to take the ball, runs fast and pushes forward and gives assists. HFC might use this type of strategy too like Odisha FC did last season.
It is sure that Santana is going to play an important role and he might score double-digit goals if he doesn’t get injured this time.
To conclude the Nizams attack looks very promising and they might be one of the best attacks in the upcoming season. This attack might even haunt a few teams.
